Please telephone the practice, rather than coming in. Your request will be assessed by our trained receptionists and you will be offered a telephone consultation with the duty doctor usually within an hour of your ringing in, or an appointment with the most appropriate clinician, depending on the nature and urgency of your request.
Doctors will often refer patients to see one of our specialist nurses, physiotherapist etc if they decide that they are the most appropriate health care professional to deal with a particular problem.
Our telephone lines are open from 8am to 10pm and 2pm to 4pm for urgent concerns that need help within four hours. From 10am to 12 noon and 4.00pm to 6.30pm for non urgent cases.
If the doctor makes the decision to refer you to a hospital consultant, he will use a system called Choose and Book. The Choose and Book system aims to give you the choice of which hospital you attend for your treatment.
Enhances Access appointments will now be available from April 4th 2024 Monday to Friday provided by the Practice. (These consultations will be subject to availability.)
