New Telephone System

We are excited to announce that on 25th September, our practice will be introducing a new telephone system called Surgery Connect. This advanced system has been designed to improve your experience when contacting the surgery, making it easier and more efficient to get the help and support you need.
We understand that contacting your GP can sometimes be challenging, especially during busy periods. With Surgery Connect, we aim to enhance the way you interact with our practice, ensuring quicker responses and a more streamlined process for managing your health needs. Below are the key benefits of this new system:
With Surgery Connect, you’ll no longer have to stay on hold for extended periods. If the lines are busy, you can opt for a call-back service, and we will get in touch with you as soon as an advisor is available. This means you can go about your day without worrying about losing your place in the queue.
2. Improved Call Management
Surgery Connect allows for better management of incoming calls. Whether you are calling for an appointment, advice, or to speak with a healthcare professional, the new system will significantly reduce wait times and manage high call volumes more effectively. You’ll be able to get through to the right department faster and with less hassle.
The new system intelligently routes calls to the right team member based on your query. This ensures you are connected to the most appropriate person or department, reducing the need for call transfers and making sure your issue is handled more efficiently.
The new system will go live on 25th September, and there will be no changes to our main contact number. However, please be aware that on launch day, there may be brief periods of downtime as we switch over to Surgery Connect. We will do our best to minimise any disruptions during this transition.
